Privacy First

MChat is designed with privacy as the top priority. Your conversations are temporary, anonymous, and never stored permanently.

Session-Based Users

We do NOT collect or store persistent user identifiers. Each time you launch MChat, you get a fresh anonymous session ID.

Minimal Data Collection

  • Chat messages (only while in room)
  • Room codes for functionality
  • Session identifiers (temporary only)
  • No personal information required

App Permissions

  • Camera — Optional (QR scanning, video calls)
  • Microphone — Optional (voice calls)
  • Internet — Required (chat functionality)
  • Network State — Required (connectivity check)

Data Storage & Deletion

  • Messages are not retained as permanent local chat history
  • Messages auto-deleted when room closes
  • No cloud storage or backups of conversations
  • Messages are not permanently stored on backend servers and session content is discarded when room/session ends

No Data Sharing

We NEVER sell, share, or trade your information with third parties. Your data is yours alone.

Security

All communications use HTTPS encryption. Your data is protected with industry-standard security measures.

Children's Privacy

MChat is not for users under 13. We comply with child privacy regulations and do not knowingly collect data from children.

Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using MChat, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not accept, you cannot use the app.

2. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for all content you create or share
  • You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • You must not engage in harassment, abuse, or threats
  • You must not share illegal content or materials
  • You must not impersonate others or deceive users
  • You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes

3. Prohibited Activities

  • Sending abusive, threatening, or harassing messages
  • Sharing illegal, harmful, or explicit content
  • Attempting to hack, exploit, or damage the system
  • Creating false or misleading content
  • Violating others' privacy or intellectual property rights
  • Spreading malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Engaging in fraud, scams, or deceptive practices

4. Developer Responsibility for Fraud & Malicious Activity

Developer's Responsibilities:

  • Developer investigates reports of fraud and malicious activity
  • Developer has right to suspend accounts violating these terms
  • Developer cooperates with law enforcement for illegal content
  • Developer maintains security measures to protect the platform
  • Developer logs and monitors suspicious activities
  • Developer reserves right to remove users engaging in fraud

Developer's Limitations (NOT Liable For):

  • Developer NOT liable for user-to-user disputes
  • Developer NOT liable for content created by users
  • Developer NOT liable for third-party actions using platform
  • Users assume all responsibility for their actions and content

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

MChat is provided "AS IS" without warranties. Developer makes no guarantees about uninterrupted service, accuracy of content, or suitability for any purpose.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Developer not liable for any indirect or consequential damages
  • Developer not liable for data loss or corruption
  • Developer not liable for service interruptions
  • Developer not liable for user-generated content
  • Total liability capped at amount user paid (if any)

7. Content Moderation & Removal

  • Developer reserves right to remove inappropriate content
  • Developer can suspend users violating terms
  • Developer can terminate accounts without notice if necessary
  • Deleted content cannot be recovered
  • Users have no recourse for content removal

8. Intellectual Property

All MChat source code, design, and branding are owned by the developer. Users cannot copy, modify, or redistribute without permission.

9. Changes to Terms

Developer can update these terms anytime. Continued use of the app means acceptance of new terms. Users will be notified of major changes.

10. Termination

  • Developer can terminate service anytime
  • Developer can terminate user accounts for violations
  • No refunds or compensation for termination
  • User data may be deleted upon termination
  • Termination applies to all future use

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable international law. Any disputes are subject to binding arbitration. Users cannot take legal action against developer.

Fraud & Illegal Activity Policy

What Constitutes Fraud

  • Creating fake accounts for deception
  • Scamming users for money or items
  • Impersonating others
  • Creating false identities
  • Attempting extortion or blackmail
  • Spreading malware or viruses
  • Hacking or unauthorized access

Consequences for Fraudsters

  1. Immediate: Account suspended
  2. Investigation: Developer reviews evidence
  3. Reporting: Law enforcement cooperation
  4. Legal: User liable for damages
  5. Permanent: Ban from platform
  6. Accountability: Full legal responsibility

Fraud & Malicious Activity

Any user engaging in fraud, scams, or deceptive practices will face:

  • Legal liability for damages
  • Permanent ban from the platform

Legal Binding

  • These terms are legally binding and enforceable
  • You cannot hold developer liable for any damages
  • Disputes are resolved through binding arbitration only

Your Data

  • Your data is yours and you're responsible for it
  • Developer is not responsible for lost or corrupted data
  • Developer can delete data upon account termination
  • No data recovery after deletion
